For the Recovery Champ
Surgery was the start. This is how you finish.
Fresh out of surgery? No worries. The weeks right after your procedure are the most important of your entire recovery — and most people don't get the support they deserve during them. We'll guide you every step of the way: restoring movement, rebuilding strength, and rebuilding confidence so you can get back to the things you love.
The weeks after surgery are the most important of your entire recovery.
Why This Window Matters
Most people underestimate how much the quality of post-op PT matters. Surgical outcomes aren't just determined in the operating room — they're determined in the weeks and months that follow.
In a traditional PT setting, post-surgical patients often receive generic protocols — the same exercises, the same timeline, regardless of their body, their surgery type, or their goals. That's not good enough.
“The surgeon fixed the structure. Physical therapy determines what you can do with it.”
Issues We Can Avoid!
Scar tissue and stiffness
Tissue heals fast — and it heals in the position you hold it. Delayed mobilization allows scar tissue to limit your range of motion permanently.
Muscle atrophy and weakness
The muscles around your surgical site shut down immediately post-op. Without targeted reactivation, this weakness persists.
Fear-avoidance patterns
Pain after surgery trains the nervous system to avoid movement. Without guidance, people stay far more restricted than they need to be.
Re-injury and setbacks
Returning to activity without properly rebuilding strength puts your repair at risk. We make sure you're truly ready.

Our 3-Phase Framework
#1 · Protect & Restore (Weeks 1-4)
Manage pain. Restore early motion. Prevent the setbacks.
Every session is hands-on and calibrated to exactly where your tissue is in the healing process. Outcomes: pain management, early range of motion, scar tissue mobility, muscle reactivation.
#2 · Rebuild Strength (Weeks 4–12)
Restore the muscle. Retrain the pattern. Build the foundation.
We progressively load the tissues that support your repair, rebuild strength and stability, and correct any compensations. Outcomes: progressive loading, movement correction, stability and balance, full range of motion.
#3 · Return to Life (Weeks 10–20+)
Not just cleared — truly ready. For everything that matters to you.
This phase is specific to your life — golf course, hiking trail, gym. "Cleared for activity" is a starting point. "Ready for your life" is the goal. Outcomes: activity-specific prep, lifestyle readiness, long-term injury prevention.
Common Surgeries We Treat
Knee Replacement (TKR) — Aggressive early mobilization and quad reactivation make an enormous difference in your long-term outcome.
Hip Replacement (THR) — We navigate the protective phase carefully, then build the hip strength that makes your new joint perform for decades.
Rotator Cuff Repair — Shoulder recovery is a long game. The quality of care in months 2–6 is the difference between a good outcome and a great one.
Spinal Surgery — We protect the repair early, then systematically rebuild the core and spinal support system your back needs long-term.
ACL Reconstruction — We run the full protocol: from quad activation to sport-specific return testing. Re-injury risk without proper rehab is real.
Other Orthopedic Procedures — Ankle reconstruction, shoulder stabilization, cartilage procedures, Achilles repair — we have the experience to guide you from day one.
“Surgery takes courage. Recovery takes patience. We’ll be with you for every step of both — guiding you from the first cautious movement all the way back to the things that make your life worth living”
